The library houses a collection of more than 27,000 books, videos/dvd's, audio books, sound recordings (vinyl records, music cassettes and cd's), magazines and puzzles. A paperback book exchange is available to visitors as well as library cardholders. A comfortable reading area is situated near the current periodical racks and chess corner. The Children's Room offers an unsupervised play and browsing area. We also have an extensive collection of chess books that were donated from the personal collection of Dr. J. Melnick, for which we are very grateful. We save back issues of the newspapers we have subscriptions to for up to three months and back issues of magazines for a year. Back issues of magazines may be taken out. |
